Michael Owers - Trombone

A graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) with a BA (Musical Studies) for classical Trombone, Michael is also an experienced Jazz performer. He currently plays in the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra and Tommy Smiths Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Having taken a sabbatical year to be President of the RSAMD student union and completed a Postgraduate Diploma, Michael has now been awarded a Masters degree, tutored by Simon Johnston (Principal, BBC SSO).

Michael is available for orchestral, jazz and commercial work on Tenor and Base Trombone.
